- About the doctordr. Dean Boldin
Dr. Boldin was born April 8, 1960 in Gary, Indiana. Dr. Boldin’s father worked for US Steel for 41 years and his mother was a homemaker. The family moved to Munster, IN in 1968.
After graduating from Munster High School in 1978, Dr. Boldin attended Wabash College in Crawfordsville, IN, where he graduated Suma Cum Laude, with a major in Chemistry. He attended Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he graduated with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery.
In September of 1990, Dr. Boldin opened his solo practice in Valparaiso on Campbell St. In March of 2000, the practice moved to a new facility at 402 Marquette Street, where Dr. Boldin currently practices. He performs general dentistry, bite alignments, complex treatment planning, and full mouth reconstruction. Dr. Boldin has a special interest in dentures, which he believes has become a lost art. He has a strong commitment for quality care and customer service.
Dr. Boldin has participated as a member of the Northwest Indiana Peer Review Board and has attended numerous continuing education courses at the Pankey Institute for Advanced General Dentistry.
Dr. Boldin resides in Porter, IN with his wife, Vicky, and his dog, Charley. He has one daughter, two stepsons and four grandchildren. He loves animals, playing the guitar and enjoy outdoor activities, including gardening.

Dr. Miranda Cornejo
MEET OUR NEWEST DoctorDr. Cornejo now practices general dentistry alongside Dr. Boldin and his esteemed team in Valparaiso. With a passion for helping people achieve their smile goals locally and internationally, she has provided essential dental care to over 800 children in Guatemala through various organizations. Beyond dentistry, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, reading, and soaking up the lake life. Her partner in crime is Pepper, a 10lb Pomerania-husky Pomsky mix, who accompanies her everywhere she goes.
About Dr. Cornejo
Dr. Cornejo, born in Merrillville, IN in 1994, grew up surrounded by dental influences—her father a dental service technician of 30 years and her grandfather a dental sales rep for 47 years. She started her dental career as a sterilization technician while attending Hanover Central High School in Cedar Lake, IN. Throughout her time in college, she advanced from dental assistant to become an expanded duty dental assistant.
A full tuition Special Academic Scholarship led her to Indiana University Northwest, where she pursued biology with a concentration in conservation ecology, fostering her love for nature and the outdoors. In 2020, she received the Diversity Fellowship Scholarship to attend Indiana University School of Dentistry, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2024.
